The Maker
You do your best work in long, uninterrupted blocks — and you suffer in fragmented days. You're allergic to status meetings, calendar tetris, and 'quick syncs' that derail a morning. Your best days have one big rock and very little else; your worst days have eight thirty-minute slices and nothing to show. Protect your mornings with the ferocity of someone defending a small republic. The Maker schedule is real, and you need it. Find a job, or design one, that respects deep work, and don't apologize for it.

Other people read your project plan and call it 'thorough'; you read it and call it 'the bare minimum so I can sleep.' You're the person teams quietly depend on, and your superpower is taking ambiguity and converting it into next-actions. Protect the planning time itself, though — it's not overhead, it's the work.

The Sprinter
You move fast, ship fast, and find your energy in momentum rather than scaffolding. You'd rather start the thing, see what it actually is, and adjust — and you find people who plan for three weeks before writing a line genuinely confusing. You can do a quarter's work in a long weekend if the stakes are right. The downside: you crash when momentum stops, and you under-rate maintenance work. Build small cooldowns into your sprints, and find a Planner to partner with.

You think about systems before tasks. You don't want to do the work — you want to redesign how the work happens so it does itself next time. You're the person who quietly rebuilds the team's process and somehow has it shipping twice as much in a month. You can over-engineer for the future at the cost of the present; the trick is knowing when to scaffold and when to just do it. Architects who learn to ship messy first and refactor later become unstoppable.
